NSF Graduate Research Fellowship Program
(Summer 2020 to Spring 2023)

After completing her thesis, Peyton joined Prof. Julie Dawson’s lab in the UW-Madison Department of Horticulture as a postdoctoral research associate. Her research will focus on chemical analysis of hazelnut breeding populations to help develop a commercially viable variety of American hazelnuts for the Upper Midwest.
